SCREENWRITING


Laura served as a writer then writer/producer on four seasons (S2 - S5) of the Emmy-winning Netflix series, “House of Cards” (WGA nomination for outstanding writing in a drama series, on the writing team that received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for drama series). Laura wrote some of the series most memorable episodes including Chapter 17 (Claire's interview) and Chapter 45 (Francis' Hallucination). 


She wrote pilots for 20th Century Fox TV/FOX network, executive produced by Danny Strong and Fox 21/Scripted World, executive produced by Jason Winer.


She is adapting Peter Nichols’ novel The Rocks for TV with producers Entertainment One, 42 and Automatik to be directed by the BAFTA-nominated director, Tom Harper.


Her feature film debut, developed by and starring Sarah Jessica Parker, is set to film in 2017 produced by Pretty Matches and AMBI Pictures .
