Blue Night will premiere in the Spotlight Narrative section of the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2018. Blue Night is directed by Fabien Constant, written by Laura Eason. "Entertainment One has picked up television rights to Peter Nichols’ best-selling novel The Rocks, with War & Peace helmer Tom Harper on board to direct. Laura Eason ("House of Cards", Sex With Strangers) is attached to adapt the series. Harper, one of the hottest directors coming out of the UK at the moment, will produce along with Josh Varney, Ben Pugh and Eleanor Moran of 42 while La La Land producer Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones will exec produce via their Automatik banner." - DEADLINE

Laura is a writer/producer on season 5 of "House of Cards", her 4th year on the show. The new season dropped on Netflix on May 30, 2017. Season 5 recently received the show's 5th consecutive Emmy nomination for Drama Series.
Laura's acclaimed adaptation, originally produced and directed by her at Lookingglass Theatre in Chicago, will have a return engagement in the UK in 2017 after three successful runs at the New Vic (Newcastle), The Royal Exchange (Manchester), and the St. James Theatre in London.
After lauded productions at Second Stage, NYC; Steppenwolf Theatre, Chicago; Sydney Theatre, Australia; a production in Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina; a sold out run at Hampstead Theatre in London; a production in Portuguese at Teatro das Artes in Rio, Brazil; and dozens of productions in the U.S., the play continues to have productions in 2017/2018 including:
